Overseer Naomi Ann McDuffie

Naomi “Ann” McDuffie, affectionately called Sister Ann, is truly a woman of God. Her attitude and gratitude personify the goodness of the Lord. Born and raised in Pasadena, Maryland, Sister Ann was introduced to the Lord by her grandmother, the late Naomi V. Cornish. Sister Ann began her personal and committed journey with Jesus in March 1970 at Faith Tabernacle Church, Baltimore, Maryland.

Sister Ann serves as the Assistant Pastor of Gospel Tabernacle of Prayer (GTOP) Church located in Clements, St. Mary’s County, Maryland, where her husband, Bishop Leroy McDuffie, Sr. is the founder and Senior Pastor.

Co-Pastor Ann, as she is fondly called by the GTOP family, is the leader and founder of the Women of Light Ministry (WOL) which is an outreach of GTOP. This ministry includes the Assistive Sisters Outreach, Nursing Home, PeaceBreak, Woman to Woman Encounter Conference, Annual Prayer Breakfast, Women Celebration, WOL monthly meeting and exhortation, Purification Time, etc. The primary objective is to reach souls by lifting up the name of Jesus, His death, burial, and resurrection.

Sister Ann is dedicated and committed to the Lord, FIRST. She also devotes much of her time and energy to her family. She is the mother of three sons, Antonio, Leroy, Jr., and Charles and one daughter, Cheryl. They all love and appreciate her zealousness for the Lord. Sister Ann is also devoted to her grandchildren.

In May 1999, Sister Ann graduated from the College of Southern Maryland with a degree in human Services. Fall 1999, she enrolled at Washington Bible College with a discipline in Biblical Studies. She graduated Cum Laude in May 2005.

Sis. Ann retired December 31, 2003, from the Social Security Administration after 32 years of service. At the time of retirement, she held the position of a Level 1 Manager for the Social Security Offices located in Montgomery County, Maryland .

That’s not all! On March 19,2005, Sis. Ann became a businesswoman. She is the proud owner of Seed of Life Christian Bookstore, Waldorf, MD. GOD IS GOOD! GOOD IS GOD!

Sister Ann is truly a virtuous woman. She is certainly a wonderful example of a godly woman, full of character and full of the Holy Ghost. Her favorite scripture is James 5:16, “Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
